Rep. Keith Ellison accused of assaulting woman – accuser claims video evidence

One of the most powerful and controversial Democrats in office may now be on his way out.

Very serious allegations of domestic abuse have been levied against Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), who also serves as the co-chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Followed by Controversy

Keith Ellison doesn’t seem to be faring well these days.

Not so long ago, Ellison found himself a punching bag of the GOP.

As a noted follower of Minister Louis Farrakhan, charges of racism are often thrown in his direction.

Ellison has also been vocal in his support of the organization Antifa.

He has consistently defended the organization even though they have been tied to numerous physical assaults against Trump supporters and conservatives.

Different Kind of Trouble

As if those charges were not enough, now Ellison finds himself in the middle of a domestic abuse scandal.

The allegations stem from a very emotional post made on Facebook by the son of Ellison’s ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan.

Ellison himself had previously posted pictures with Monahan on social media.

After the allegations were made public, Karen confirmed the information made public by her son, Austin.

Ellison, of course, denied the allegations.

However, several people have noticed Ellison seems very concerned about the possibility of a video.

If the video does in fact exist, Ellison’s days are numbered.

This would flip the party upside down, as Ellison is one of those names that continues to pop up as a possible candidate to run against Trump in 2020.
