Prominent immunologist regrets vote for Biden after vaccine mandates are announced

In the months since President Joe Biden took office, there have been numerous rumblings from Democratic voters who have expressed some level of buyer’s remorse over voting for a president who has, so far, been less than impressive.

Adding to that list of regretful “buyers,” or voters, according to TheBlaze, is a prominent immunologist by the name of Dr. Hooman Noorchashm, who is very much against the idea of COVID-19 vaccine mandates, especially concerning those who have natural immunity from being previously infected.

The doctor, who has held positions at institutions such as Harvard Medical and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, has even been cited in lawsuits against states enacting vaccine mandates, with the citations referencing his research and expertise on natural immunity for those who’ve already had COVID-19.

“Unethical and illegal”

Dr. Noorchashm was vocal in several recently published Twitter posts that he is firmly against COVID-19 vaccine mandates. It should be noted that the doctor is a proponent of Americans taking the vaccine, but unlike many “experts,” follows the actual science that points to who can actually benefit from a vaccine at this point in time.

“LET ME BE CLEAR @POTUS: To mandate vaccination of any COVID-recovered American against his/her will is unscientific, unethical and illegal,” Dr. Noorchashm tweeted.

The doctor doubled down, adding: “@WhiteHouse U have overstepped and are operating in dangerous territory when it comes to already immune Americans. Cease and desist!”

He then dropped the buyer’s remorse bomb in a follow-up tweet, announcing his regret for helping put Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris into office.

“I voted for Biden….As a McCain republican. It was an error and I now regret it. Last night’s chest beating press conference by @POTUS was one of the most destructive and divisive speeches ever given by a US president who claims 2 B a well-reasoned uniter, acting on science,” Dr. Noorechashm wrote.

Biden’s mandate

Following what many believe to be a total foreign policy disaster in Afghanistan, the president announced last week a mandate that will require businesses with over 100 employers to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations, and for those who opt-out, provide weekly testing.

According to Reuters, the mandate will affect some 100 million total workers in the United States, though it’s unclear how many of those are already vaccinated. The mandate will also apply to some four million federal workers alone.

Companies who violate the federal mandate will be subject to crippling fines, in the neighborhood of up to $14,000 per violation — a fine that most small businesses can’t afford to face even one time without going out of business.

It’s truly frightening and eye-opening when highly-respected scientists and doctors who voted for Biden, such as Dr. Noorchashm, raise concerns over how the Biden administration is handling the pandemic and how badly they seem to be handling it.
