A celebrity shooting has police baffled.
Rapper XXXTentacion, 20, was shot and killed outside of a motorcycle dealership on Monday afternoon.
XXXTentacion was reportedly shopping for a new motorcycle when he was shot down.
According to local police, he was outside the dealership when shots rang out.
Police initially reported it may have been a drive-by shooting.
However, new reports stated there was a bag stolen from his vehicle, leading them to believe there may have been other motives behind the shooting.
The incident itself occurred early Monday afternoon.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. EDT, XXXTentacion was rushed to a local hospital.
XXXTentacion was reported as being lifeless at the scene.
At 2:40 p.m. EDT, local police reported XXXTentacion was dead.
The suspects were described as two men, both wearing hoodies, one with a red mask, driving a black Dodge Journey.
XXXTentacion was not exactly a model citizen.
He has several existing feuds and more than his fair share of legal problems.
XXXTentacion had actually recently been sentenced to house arrest, but the judge was letting him out to go on tour.
He was facing 15 felony counts, all related to witness tampering.
The witness tampering was related to 2016 charges he was facing for domestic violence against his then-pregnant girlfriend.
XXXTentacion was a rising star in the rap industry.
His first major label release album, “17,” debuted at #2 on US Billboard 200.
