Psaki says it would take too many ‘assets’ and ‘resources’ for Biden to visit Waukesha

Last week, Waukesha, Wisconsin experienced an unprecedented tragedy when career criminal Darrell Brooks drove his SUV through an annual Christmas parade, killing multiple people and injuring dozens more.

According to Fox News, many want to know why President Joe Biden hasn’t visited the small, Midwestern community in the wake of the tragedy, and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed this week that Biden isn’t planning on making the visit “at this point,” citing the amount of “assets” and “resources” such a trip would require.

“As you saw the president convey last week, our hearts go out to this community, to the people in Waukesha that we’ve been in touch, obviously, with officials there,” Psaki said. “We’re all watching as people are recovering, and this is such a difficult time of year for this to happen–it’s difficult any time.”

“It’s not something that I have a trip to preview at this point in time,” Psaki added. “But we remain in touch with local officials and certainly our hearts are with the community as they’ve gone through such a difficult time.”

The killer’s background

Brooks, a Black man, has an extensive criminal history, though it didn’t seem to matter as he was repeatedly let out on low-cost or no bail on several occasions, including just a week prior to his attack on the Christmas parade.

Many have already described his cowardly attack on the innocent parade-goers of Waukesha as domestic terrorism, though it’s clear at this point that the White House won’t touch that idea with a 10-foot poll, possibly, some believe, because of Brooks’ skin color.

Prosecutors in Milwaukee have been forced to eat crow in the wake of the tragedy, as they let Brooks out of jail on a $1,000 bail last month after running over his girlfriend with the same SUV he used as a weapon at the parade. He also allegedly beat his girlfriend in the face at a gas station parking lot.

In the wake of the Christmas massacre, prosecutors admitted that his previous bail was “inappropriately low.”

White House maintains narrative

Because of Brooks’ ridiculously easy time of getting out of jail for next to nothing on multiple occasions, new questions have been raised about the asinine idea of ending cash bail, which the White House still supports, even in the wake of what just happened.

“Ending cash bail will not automatically put people charged with crimes on the streets,” an unnamed White House official told Fox. “It just means that whether you get bail should be based on the threat you pose, and not how much money you have in your bank account.”

The official added: “There shouldn’t be a separate criminal justice system for wealthy Americans.”

With that being said, many on social media have pointed out that former President Donald Trump wouldn’t have hesitated for a moment in taking a trip to speak with the grieving families in Waukesha. Unfortunately, Biden is simply not a good person.
