Report: Prosecutors interview James Comey, may be close to criminally charging McCabe

James Comey was put on the hot seat and it may not be very good news for Andrew McCabe.

According to reports, McCabe may soon find himself facing significant charges.

Comey Interview

U.S. Attorney’s Office investigators recently called in former Director of the FBI, James Comey, for questioning.

After Comey left, rumors started to fly that McCabe could find himself in quite a bit of trouble very soon.

Comey has been throwing everyone under the bus as of late to try to save himself.

He has more than a few slipups in public while promoting his own book.

McCabe’s Troubles

Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz has reportedly accused McCabe of outright misleading investigators during prior questioning.

If McCabe is charged and found guilty, he will be facing up to five years in prison.

More importantly, it will prove the Trump administration right in having fired McCabe rather than letting him retire.

McCabe, through his attorney, has denied any wrongdoing.

His attorney, Michael R. Bromwich, stated, “We said at that time that we were confident that, unless there is inappropriate pressure from high levels of the Administration, the U.S. Attorney’s Office would conclude that it should decline to prosecute. Our view has not changed.”

And there you have it…

His attorney is already laying the groundwork to blame none other than Trump for McCabe’s wrongdoing.

The implication is clear.

President Trump is putting pressure on the Justice Department to prosecute McCabe.

We the People, however, know that not to be the case.

When all is said and done, it would not be surprising to see both McCabe and Comey facing prosecution.
