Poll: a majority believes Biden has ‘perhaps profited from’ Hunter Biden’s business deals

Much to the dismay of President Joe Biden, the story of his son Hunter Biden’s international business dealings just isn’t going away.

A new poll has found that a majority of people believe not only that President Biden was “consulted about” his son’s overseas business dealings but that the elder Biden “perhaps profited” from them.

The poll comes from Rasmussen Reports, which surveyed 1,000 “U.S. Likely Voters” between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

The pollster asked participants several questions related to Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop – the one that he is said to have abandoned at a computer repair shop in Delaware. It is from this laptop that many details have been learned about the younger Biden’s highly questionable international business dealings.

Some findings

Two of the big questions, regarding Hunter Biden’s international business dealings, are whether Joe Biden knew about these dealings and whether he profited off of them.

The speculation has been that the answer to both questions is yes. And, not only that, but many argue that Hunter Biden, in these international business dealings, was likely profiting off of his father’s name and place in the U.S. government. The evidence would certainly suggest that there is at least some truth to all of this, but President Biden denies it.

Rasmussen, with its poll, put the question to participants. And, a clear majority of those surveyed – 62% – expressed their belief that “Joe Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from his son Hunter’s overseas business deals.”

A near majority – 47% – in fact, said that it is “very likely” that the elder Biden consulted about and perhaps profited from these overseas business deals. Only 33% expressed their belief that President Biden was not consulted about the deals.

The Hunter Biden saga will remain in the spotlight

The Hunter Biden laptop saga remains a top story for several reasons. One of the top reasons is that it was suppressed during the 2020 presidential election by Big Tech and the mainstream media, and, now, many of these sources are admitting the veracity of the story.

Rasmussen, in its poll, asked participants whether they think that the Hunter Biden laptop story continues to be important. A clear majority – 63% – said that it is important.

Another majority – 67% – told the pollster that they have been following the Hunter Biden saga “closely.”

This is all bad news for President Biden and those Democrats who have been looking to keep Hunter Biden and his questionable background out of the spotlight. It would appear that the Hunter Biden story isn’t going to disappear anytime soon.
