Nancy Pelosi furious over Trump’s refusal to cooperate with impeachment inquiry

Democrats are currently involved in an open coup to regain the White House — and they expect President Donald Trump to cooperate with their blatant power grab.

After the White House released a letter essentially telling impeachment-happy Dems to go pound sand, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi went into full meltdown mode, saying that Trump is “trying to make lawlessness a virtue,” NBC News reports.

Not Going to Help

The furor over the lack of cooperation came after the White House declined to turn over internal documents regarding the Ukraine telephone call at the heart of the whistleblower complaint.

Not only did the administration refuse to cooperate, but White House counsel Pat Cipollone also called the entire inquiry illegitimate.

“Never before in our history has the House of Representatives — under the control of either political party — taken the American people down the dangerous path you deemed determined to pursue,” Cipollone wrote in the letter, on behalf of Trump.

Honestly, just how much cooperation did Pelosi expect to get from Trump on this? The Dems are literally trying to steal the presidency, and they actually want Trump to help them to do it.

More Lies from Schiff

After the White House published its letter of refusal, House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) responded in kind. He wrongly accused the president of seeking election interference while completely overlooking any wrongdoing by Joe Biden revealed in the course of this matter.

He once again is pushing the narrative that Trump believes he is above the law. However, to this point, Trump has been transparent and cooperative with the legitimate investigations being held.

While Trump has taunted House Democrats, the administration inf act turned over more than one million documents to Robert Mueller’s team during the special counsel investigation.

Making that very point, a White House official stated: “We are avoiding saying there is no way we would ever cooperate.

They went on: “What we have done is explain the flaws under the current circumstances, and how changes could address those flaws and what that might hold for the future, I don’t want to predict now.”

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham called the impeachment nothing more than “political theater” — and she is absolutely right.
