‘Over my dead body’: Palin rails against Fauci, vows to never receive COVID-19 vaccine

While millions of Americans have already received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and a booster shot, millions more are adamant that they will never receive a jab.

The latter group includes former GOP Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who shared her views at a recent conservative conference in Arizona.

“They better not touch my kids”

As someone who has previously contracted the COVID-19 virus, she expressed a belief that her natural immunity would be sufficient to protect her against the virus in the future.

Her remarks drew applause from many in the audience and included a harsh assessment of the decrees issued by White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Palin recalled early advice that natural immunity could offer protection but insisted that influential members of the medical community “changed their tune” after vaccines became widely available.

Over the past year, many local, state, and federal entities have sought to impose strict and far-reaching vaccine mandates. For her part, Palin is literally dead-set against receiving one.

“It’ll be over my dead body that I have to get a shot,” she declared. “I will not. I won’t do it, and they better not touch my kids either.”

“So I want to ask the questions”

The 2008 vice presidential candidate went on to declare that “enough is enough,” encouraging vaccine-hesitant citizens to “stiffen [their] spines … especially when it comes to government telling us what we have to inject in our own bodies.”

This was not the first time that Palin spoke out against vaccine mandates, as The Hill reported in September.

“I believe in the science and I have not taken the shot,” she told Fox News Channel personality Greg Gutfeld.

Like in her more recent remarks at the AmericaFest conference in Phoenix, Palin used the cable news appearance to rail against the Fauci’s dubious decrees. In reference to his supposedly shifting goalposts since the earliest days of the pandemic, she simply declared: “So I want to ask the questions.”
