Orrin Hatch hilariously responds to Google saying he had died

The all-knowing Google made a colossal mistake.

After seeing his Google profile listed him as having died on September 11, 2017, Senator Orin Hatch had a little fun.

After giving Google a funny little nudge, the senator’s staff decided to offer some proof that he is still alive and kicking.

Hatch’s office tweeted out a picture of his last office birthday celebration, which took place about six months after his supposed death.

His Twitter feed was also loaded with photos of the senator doing some of his day-to-day tasks.

Proof of Life

Just to prove he was, in fact, still alive, a staff member took a brief video of the Senator with the day’s paper.

If that serves as proof of life for kidnappers, it will hopefully be good enough for Google.

As it turns out, it was, because Google has already corrected the mistake.

Still Alive But…

While Hatch is obviously still alive, his retirement is right around the corner.

In January, Senator Hatch announced he will not be seeking re-election and will step down at the end of this term.

In his retirement announcement, he thanked his constituents for allowing him to serve them for more than four decades.
