If we have learned anything over the last three years, it is that you simply cannot hide from your past.
Now that Beto O’Rourke has officially announced his candidacy for president, his sick past has been revealed, and it could be enough to end his campaign.
The damning evidence… an article O’Rourke wrote as a teenager that fantasized about killing “happy” children.
During his teen years, O’Rourke was apparently part of a computer hacking group called “Cult of the Dead Cow.”
In the piece, O’Rourke gives a very sick, twisted vision of how he could kill innocent children. The reason he wanted to murder the children?
“They were happy, happy to be free from their troubles. … This happiness was mine by right. I had earned it in my dreams.”
O’Rourke has stated the article is “not anything I’m proud of today.”
Molded by His Past
When you look into O’Rourke’s childhood, you cannot help being disturbed by that article and the man today.
He was not some young man struggling for meals but rather born into a privileged family. His father was deeply involved in local politics and his mother owned her own business.
Both his father and mother had ties to prominent politicians of the time, including former Texas Governor Mark White and John F. Kennedy.
After attending Columbia, O’Rourke was arrested for burglary.
He was arrested for a DUI in September 1998, which many believe was dismissed because of his father’s connections.
Point being, O’Rourke clearly had a silver spoon in his mouth and chose to invent his own problems.
That attitude described in his article about deserving happiness by right rather than earning it is still evident today.
He is among the new radical left that want to turn this country into a socialist country and let everyone bask in the freebies provided by the government.
Some will no doubt dismiss his writings as the rantings of a confused teenager, but does that excuse fantasizing about crushing innocent kids under the wheels of his car? Sick.
