Obama: ‘Well, you know, Uncle Joe, you know what happened to him’

Barack Obama has been caught on video poking fun – at “Uncle Joe.”

Would that be Joe Biden, who was his vice president for eight years, and now is in the White House?

Obama was stumping for Democrat Senate candidate Raphael Warnock, who is in a runoff in Georgia with football star Herschel Walker.

He said, “We all know some folks in our lives who – we don’t wish them ill will. They say crazy stuff & we’re all like, ‘Well, you know, Uncle Joe, you know what happened to him.’ They’re part of the family but you don’t give them serious responsibilities.”

In fact, Obama waited an extended period before, finally, endorsing Joe Biden for president in 2020.

A commentary on the Twitchy website explained, “Former President Barack Obama is a lefty, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll disagree with everything he says. For example, this comment during a rally for Raphael Warnock in Georgia about ‘folks in our lives has a definite element of truth to it.”

The commentary continued, “President Biden hasn’t been asked to go to Georgia and campaign for Warnock (no doubt due to his dismal approval rating in the state) but at least Obama made sure Biden was there in spirit!”

Biden has, in fact, established a solid reputation for verbal gaffes and flubs over many years. In recent days he’s been seen multiple times wandering on stage as if he’s not quite sure where he is or where he should go. Once he wandered away from Secret Service and took an apparently unplanned stroll across the grass at the White House.
