Obama comments about immigrants voting resurfaces as Trump issues dire warning

 January 9, 2024

A video of Barack Obama encouraging the relatives of illegal immigrants to vote has resurfaced as Donald Trump warns about efforts by Democrats to flood the polls with "unvetted migrants."

In the 2016 interview with a Latino news source, Obama urged Latinos to vote on behalf of their illegal family members.

Obama lets it slip

Obama had been asked by the interviewer whether "undocumented citizens" protected by Obama's unconstitutional DACA program should be deterred from voting, and his response was ambiguous at best.

Indeed, Obama's comments could be read as a borderline solicitation of voter fraud.

Obama said Latinos should have no fear that voting will cause their relatives living in the country illegally to be deported. And in fact, Obama said Latinos have a duty to act as virtual representatives of their "undocumented" families.

"If you have a family member who maybe is undocumented, then you have an even greater reason to vote," he said.

"And part of what is important for Latino citizens is to make your voice heard, because you’re not just speaking for yourself. You’re speaking for family members, friends, classmates of yours in school."

Bogus "fact checkers" rush in...

Obama's threshold for voting is seemingly very low, as he explained: "if you want to vote, and you show up at your polling place, they can’t stop you from voting." He lamented the "barriers" to voting that have existed historically - which many progressives would say includes citizenship.

Those "barriers" have steadily eroded in states run by progressives, where illegals have been given free health care, driving privileges and yes - in some cases, voting rights.

It's obvious what Democrats are after, but that hasn't stopped the media from scoffing at Trump's recent warning that illegals are being recruited to "VOTE, VOTE, VOTE" in 2024.

Given the weak voter ID laws in some states, there is just no way of knowing for sure how many illegal immigrants are voting.

We don't even know how many illegal immigrants are living in the country to begin with. It is hard to see why people who are living in America unlawfully, without fear of any consequence, should hesitate to show up to a polling place.

Biden has made it clear that, as long as he is president, illegals are basically untouchable.

In any case, it's clear from Obama's comments that Democrats see mass immigration as an electoral strategy. That is absolutely undeniable, at this point.
