Asked if he would nominate Obama for the Supreme Court, Biden says ‘yes’

Joe Biden made another play to win over a few more votes this week while making an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

When asked by Colbert if he would nominate Barack Obama to the Supreme Court, Biden responded, “Hell … yes.”

“I don’t think he’d do it,” he added, but agreed with Colbert that Obama would be qualified for the position. Watch below:

Pandering for Votes

If there is one thing we have found out about Biden during this presidential campaign, it is that he loves to bring up Barack Obama as much as possible.

Colbert opened the door for Biden to drop his name, asking him if he called his former boss for advice during this campaign.

Biden, of course, said he talks to Obama all the time, the most recent conversation taking place about three or four weeks ago. That must have been the last time Obama told him he really didn’t have to run for office to prove anything to anyone.

Biden also stated that he had asked Michelle Obama to be his vice president, which elicted a rousing cheer, but Biden finally revealed he was only joking.

Not Really Qualified

Saying Obama is qualified for the Supreme Court, though, is a bit of a stretch. Obama is listed as a Constitutional professor at Chicago University, but he has proven during his time as president he has little respect for the Constitution itself.

One need only look at DACA to prove that Obama has no idea what the Constitution allows and does not allow.

If you need more proof, look at how he sidestepped legislative procedures to push through both the Iran deal and Obamacare.

Can you imagine the disaster the Supreme Court would become if someone as far left as Obama was allowed to sit on the bench for the next three decades?

If Biden was truly serious about nominating Obama to the Supreme Court, he has provided us with more than enough proof that he is not fit for the office.
