Report: Georgia State Sen. Nikema Williams arrested during election protest

Georgia State Sen. Nikema Williams couldn’t keep it together on Tuesday.

She was arrested during a protest of last week’s elections, which didn’t end favorably for Democrats in the state.

Won’t Accept Defeat

After a typical election, winners celebrate, losers concede, and it is over.

During recent years, though, that precedent has changed.

Now, when Democrats lose a race fair and square, they protest, riot, and claim the election was rigged.

In this case, state Sen. Williams joined protestors at the State Capital demanding a recount of election ballots since their candidate for governor, Stacey Abrams, lost.

But the reason she and other protestors were arrested was that they broke the law.

The law prohibits people from being “loud, threatening,” or using “abusive language” while the state legislature is in session.

They just couldn’t control themselves.

False Claims

From the moment the vote tally was announced in Georgia, Democrats started to cry foul.

Since their candidate lost, something had to be amiss, right?

The disease infecting the Democratic Party is starting to penetrate across the entire country.

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) has outright accused Republicans of stealing the election.

But this is no different from what Democrats did during the presidential election.

Because Trump won, Democrats spread a theory that Russians interfered in the election and thus, the vote wasn’t valid.

Clinton Comments

Hillary Clinton herself took that approach in the aftermath of the election, and she is taking the same approach in Georgia this fall.

During a recent appearance, Clinton said: “I know Stacey Abrams well – she was one of my really strong surrogates in the campaign. If she’d had a fair election, she already would have won.”

Keep in mind, the only illegal activity we have seen in any of these elections has been by Democrats.

Conservatives and Republicans are not the ones trying to get illegally cast votes to count.

Conservatives and Republicans are not the ones mixing invalid ballots in with the rest of ballots to ensure our candidates can get a few extra votes.

Once again, the party preaching unity is the one creating a narrative that will only lead to more turmoil, protests, and riots in this country.

What a shame.
