New poll reveals parents of schoolchildren favor Republicans, while Harris, Biden stay silent

It’s no secret at this point that Democrats, mostly thanks to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris and their radical policies, are in deep trouble heading into the 2022 midterms.

According to The Daily Wire, a new poll confirmed that prediction once again, and in perhaps the most alarming possible way for Democratic candidates down the ticket. The survey revealed that parents of children under 18 are more than twice as likely to vote for Republican candidates over Democrats.

The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll was another eye-opening look at the future for Democratic candidates, most of whom already had a tough, uphill battle ahead of them.

The numbers

When asked which major party’s candidate they are more likely to support, parents of children under 18 overwhelmingly chose Republican candidates, at 60%. Only 32% chose Democratic candidates.

While the number is significant, it shouldn’t come as a surprise in the wake of Democrats insisting that young schoolchildren be taught about sexual topics and other “woke” curriculum that has angered parents across the country of both party affiliations.

“When asked about their approval of President Joe Biden, 61% of parents disapproved and 29% approved,” the Daily Wire noted.

Biden’s polling numbers have continued to tank over the course of 2022, and aren’t expected to improve as inflation worsens, and crises like the immigration explosion at the southern U.S. border continue to wreak havoc on the nation.

Biden’s bizarre statement

Adding to a growing list of gaffes and outright bizarre and unsettling statements, President Biden raised eyebrows last week as he insisted, on multiple occasions, that children are “not someone else’s children” while they’re in the classroom.

“They’re not someone else’s children, they’re our children,” Biden said. “You have heard me say it many times about our children, but it is true, they’re all our children. And the reason you are the teachers of the year is because you recognize that.”

“They’re not somebody else’s children. They’re like yours when they’re in the classroom,” he repeated.

Nobody should be surprised, at this point, why his most popular nickname is “Creepy Joe.”
