New FEC complaint leaves Ilhan Omar facing charge of misuse of campaign funds

The old adage “all press is good press” can’t be true in every situation. In fact, when it comes Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), that is hardly ever the case.

A new report from Breitbart alleges that a complaint was filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) accusing the congresswoman of using campaign funds “to help carry on an extramarital affair with a Democrat consultant whose firm she paid tens of thousands of dollars.”

Thousands misused for affair

The complaint filed with the FEC alleges the misuse of nearly $230,000, according to Breitbart.

This money was paid to a political strategy firm where Omar’s alleged lover, Tim Mynett, was a partner.

The money was paid under the auspices of “travel expenses” — but it looks like that wasn’t the case. Breitbart reports:

On Tuesday, Mynett’s wife, Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett, filed for divorce in a D.C.-area court, alleging her spouse confessed to having an affair with Omar in April, the same month FEC documents show that the lawmaker’s campaign began issuing payments to E. Street Group for “travel expenses.”

For her part, Omar denies the allegations.

Pattern of corruption

Ilhan Omar’s campaign now joins the ranks Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s in the unenviable position of being suspected of mishandling money.

These freshmen Democrat radicals preach change, but they are really just grifters getting rich off of the taxpayer.

It really makes you wonder what other politicians are skimming money and diverting it to themselves.

How are so many politicians multimillionaires when they have comparatively modest salaries?

Ilhan Omar and her taxpayer-funded affairs should enrage every hard-working American.

It is time to drop the hammer on the corruption in D.C. It is time to drain the swamp.
