A new book suggests that former President Barrack Obama has played in instrumental role in the presidential elections that have taken place since he left the White House.
The book is by Hunter Walker and Luppe B. Luppen. It is titled, The Truce: Progressives, Centrists, and the Future of the Democratic Party. The book is set to be released this week, on Jan. 23.

Along the way, the authors make some interesting revelations about Obama.
Although the book has yet to be released, the Daily Mail has published a report revealing some of its contents.
Apparently, President Joe Biden was pushing really hard to become the Democrats' presidential nominee in 2016, but it was Obama who told him "no" and who attempted to align Democrats behind Hillary Clinton.
The Daily Mail reports:
Biden's gut political instinct told him that he could win the 2016 election - and Clinton could not. But Obama did not share that view with there being "every effort to have the political people around Barack Obama communicate directly to Joe Biden that this was not a smart political things to do.
Biden, of course, did stand down, and Clinton lost the election. According to the book, on election night 2016, after Clinton lost, Biden had some choice words for Obama.
"Boss I told you. People just don't like her," Biden reportedly told him.
Despite Obama's failure to get Clinton elected in 2016, he, apparently, continued to play a big role in Democratic politics through the 2020 presidential election.
According to the Daily Mail, the new book indicates that "Obama guided Biden's 2020 rivals out of the race so that he could beat Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary."
The book refers to this fact as a "closely guarded secret."
"Why is it a secret?" you may ask. Presumably because Obama and Democrats do not want Americans to know that Obama still wields this much power in American politics.
Ever since Biden's election in 2020, there has been speculation that Obama is the one who is really running the show - not Biden - and, considering the new revelations from this book, it seems that this is very likely the case.
