New book reveals Biden ‘raged’ after finding reminders of Trump in the White House

According to the Daily Mail, a soon-to-be-released book reveals that President Joe Biden would get extremely angry after discovering any reminders of his predecessor, former President Donald Trump, in the White House.

The book, called The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House, comes from author Chris Whipple.

The book’s billing on Amazon, in part, states:

Featuring shocking new details about how renegade Trump officials enabled the transfer of power, which key staffers really make the White House run (it’s probably not who you think), why Joe Biden no longer speaks freely around his security detail, and what he really thinks of Vice President Kamala Harris, the press, and living in the White House.

The Fight of His Life delivers a stunning portrait of politics on the edge.
The book is scheduled to be released on Jan. 17, 2023.

The latest reveal

Among those who have gotten a sneak peek into Whipple’s book is the New York Post.

The Post reports:

Joe Biden was a profile in pettiness when he took up residence in the White House, trying to rid the Oval Office of the famous Resolute Desk merely because Donald Trump used it — and cursing out his predecessor over a video game system, a forthcoming book claims.

The video game system that irked Biden was apparently a golf simulator that Trump had installed on a big-screen television located upstairs. Whipple quotes Biden, upon showing it to a guest, as saying, “What a f****** a******.”

This is not that surprising after Fox News, last month, also reporting on Whipple’s book, revealed how Biden would get extremely angry about the illegal immigration taking place at the southern border.

Fox reported:

Meanwhile, illegal immigrants kept arriving. And Biden was furious. Aides had rarely seen him so angry. From all over the West Wing, you could hear the president cursing, dropping f-bombs (he’d always apologize when women were present).

Infiltrated?

Whipple’s book goes on to make several other revelations, some of which relate to Trump. Separately, the New York Post reports:

Whipple, a respected expert on West Wing management, writes that Biden has been suspicious of the Secret Service since taking office, apparently believing that many rank-and-file agents supported former President Donald Trump.

The Post quotes Whipple as writing that Biden’s suspicion came from the fact that the Secret Service “is full of white ex-cops from the South who tend to be deeply conservative.”

“Wary of his own Secret Service agents, the president no longer spoke freely in their presence,” Whipple writes.

There’s more

According to Whipple, Biden, on top of all of this, actually tried to get the Oval Office’s Resolute Desk – a famous desk that was made from the timbers of a British warship and gifted to the U.S. by Queen Victoria – removed simply because Trump had used it.

It appears, though, that Biden never got his wish.
