Sexual harassment rumors have taken down yet another prominent Democrat.
Mike Sprinkle, who is a Democrat Assemblyman in Nevada, has resigned over “growing sexual harassment rumors against me.”
Local Nevada publications reported several women came forward to make allegations against Sprinkle.
Based on Sprinkle’s statement, it would appear as though he willingly admits he knows he did something inappropriate.
Sprinkle stated, “I am so sorry that anyone that ever felt harassed or threatened by me.”
“While that was never my intention, I am taking full responsibility for my actions and would never discredit the feelings or concerns of someone who felt wronged by me,” he added.
Not exactly the words of a man that feels as though the allegations being made are unwarranted.
Problems in Nevada for Democrats
The allegations against Sprinkle sound like a broken record as of late for Democrats.
Over the last year or so, the party has been hammered by allegations of both sexual harassment and corruption.
Going back to 2017, former state Senator Mark Manendo resigned after sexual harassment allegations were made against him.
Earlier this month, former state Senator Kelvin Atkinson resigned over corruption charges.
He has already pled guilty to wire fraud for using about $250,000 in campaign funds for personal use.
The Democrat party right now is incapable of getting out of its own way.
Every time the party gets any type of momentum, scandals break that let the American people know what the party is really all about.
