Earlier this week, actor Charlie Sheen's neighbor violently attacked him.
According to Fox News, details about the incident have been provided by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department (LASD).
The incident took place on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at around 1 p.m. at Sheen's Malibu residence.
Fox cites the LASD as stating:
On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Malibu/Lost Hills deputies responded to the 6000 block of Cavalleri Road in Malibu regarding a battery/disturbance call. Upon contacting the parties involved, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault.
Sheen's neighbor - the suspect - has been identified as Electra Schrock. Sheen told authorities that she "lives above him."
Schrock, according to the LASD, went to Sheen's residence, rang the doorbell, and proceeded to violently attack Sheen when Sheen answered.
The LASD states:
Sheen heard knocking on his door, slightly opened it and saw his neighbor Electra Schrock standing there. Schrock pushed her way into Sheen’s home and began grabbing at him and his neck.
At this point, Sheen attempted to get away from Schrock, but Schrock pursued him. The LASD continues:
Schrock grabbed at Sheen’s neck multiple times, eventually ripping his shirt. Sheen was able to call 911 while he was being attacked and while on the line with 911 continued to yell at Schrock to let him go. Neighbors heard the commotion and were able to intervene and help get the suspect out of the residence.
It does not appear that Sheen was injured in the attack. TMZ reports, "Our sources say paramedics came to the scene ... but Charlie was not transported to the hospital."
Schrock has been arrested, and she has been taken into custody at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood. She made her first court appearance on Friday.
Schrock has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to create great bodily injury and residential burglary. It is unclear what the deadly weapon is that Schrock used.
Sheen told authorities that he had "a previous issue with Schrock, prior to this incident," but it is unclear what this previous issue was. It is also unclear why it is that Schrock targeted Sheen.
TMZ reports:
We're told Charlie doesn't understand what prompted the incident but this apparently isn't his first issue with her ... he told deputies he believes the same woman squirted some type of sticky liquid on his car recently.
It is also being reported that Schrock was arrested on felony charges in March 2023.
