Progressive House Dems aren’t waiting for Nancy Pelosi’s approval

The new radical Democrats are taking over the party. Even though Nancy Pelosi is not supporting impeachment, the Green New Deal, and current Medicare for All proposals, it is not stopping the freshman class of representatives from introducing them.

The defiance is there for everyone to see and hear, with Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) stating, “Is she endorsing Green New Deal? No, but that hasn’t stopped us.”

Be Careful What You Wish For

Democrats reached out to a younger crowd hoping they could energize a new wave of politicians. In the 2018 midterms, they got exactly what they wished for.

Unfortunately, at least for the Democrats, the individuals that won their respective races are now tearing the Democrat Party apart.

All the while, House Speaker Pelosi has just stood on the sidelines and let them run roughshod over the Party.

Fall In Line or Else

Among the new members, nobody has been louder than Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). She hit the ground running by making a huge splash on social media after she won her race.

As Pelosi gave her more room, AOC literally threatened the rest of the members of her party in Congress, stating she was going to put them all on a “primary list” if they did not vote the party line.

The list, apparently, was to be compiled to put together new candidates to face off against those going against the party in their next respective primary race.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has on several occasions voiced an unfavorable opinion about Israel, a key ally of the United States. Her repeated anti-Semitic tropes threw the House into an uproar.

Then, of course, there is Tlaib, who, ignoring party leadership, plans to move forward with introducing impeachment documents against President Donald Trump.

The three of them along with other less-vocal progressives are disregarding Pelosi’s direction and pushing a far-left agenda in Congress. They don’t need her approval, and they don’t care who knows it.
