A court filing in Georgia that accused President Donald Trump of a long list of crimes connected to the 2020 election abruptly disappeared from the court website, leaving a state of confusion behind.

Trump already has been indicted in New York for some apparent business records misdemeanors that prosecutors suddenly claimed were felonies. Then he was attacked for having government documents, including classified papers, from his presidency.

Interestingly, both Mike Pence and Joe Biden also were found to have similar documents in their possession, but no charges have resulted from those cases.

Then Trump was charged for his statements about the 2020 election, comments that even his detractors admit likely are protected by the First Amendment.

A state case in Georgia apparently also deals with his statements about the 2020 election.

The Washington Examiner said a filing was posted in Fulton County, but then suddenly was deleted.

The document apparently accused Trump in an "Open" case but the prosecutor in the county claimed in a statement no charges were filed.

The Examiner explained, "Shortly after 4:30 EDT on Monday, the Office of the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts Honorable Che Alexander released a statement to the Washington Examiner noting it had learned of a 'fictitious document that has been circulated online and reported by various media outlets related to the Fulton County Special Purpose Grand Jury.'

"While there have been no documents filed today regarding such, all members of the media should be reminded that documents that do not bear an official case number, filing date, and the name of The Clerk of Courts, in concert, are not considered official filings and should not be treated as such," the county statement said.

The document that was available, briefly, claimed Trump could face 39 counts including violation of the Georgia RICO law and conspiracy.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, a Democrat whose support for office came from some of the far-left extremists across the country, has been investigating whether Trump and his allies illegally sought to overturn Georgia's 2020 election results.
