The random violence in this country has risen to sickening levels, prompting a major national conversation on how to address the issue.
The latest victims were a group of Hispanic men filming a video in Houston, Texas, who were seemingly attacked at random. When the dust settled, police stated two men were dead and another seven of them were injured from the drive-by shooting, according to Fox News.
A tragedy in Houston
According to local police, a group of young Hispanic men were filming what appeared to be a music video in a parking lot.
Suddenly, another group of individuals drove by and opened fire.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Friday night.
When the shooting stopped, two men were found dead and another seven were injured from the shooting.
“There were other vehicles that were staged there and we believe they were filming some type of music video when, all of a sudden, basically they were ambushed, we believe by individuals in cars and/or foot that fired shots into the parking lot area,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez told reporters.
Democrats continue to blame the violence in this country on Donald Trump, but where does the fault really lie?
This past weekend, there was yet another anti-Semitic attack in New York, a city governed by Democrats.
Chicago, another city run by Democrats, also had its usual bout of violence over the weekend. Houston, a city that has yet another Democrat mayor, then experiences this horrific incident.
It stands to reason that Democrats should be able to control the violence in their own cities, but that is not what we are seeing.
As gun-control measures continue to be implemented in many of these Democrat-run states and cities, to no avail, new solutions must be sought out. Lives are at stake.
