Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) may have just pulled off the coup of the campaign season.
A New York Post report revealed that McConnell has decided to hire Nick Sandmann as the grassroots director for his campaign.
Sandmann’s life was almost ruined by the left-leaning mainstream media last year. Now he may never have to work again because of them.
Then a student at Covington High School, Sandmann was smeared in numerous misleading media reports about his viral encounter with a Native American man after attending the March for Life in D.C. last year.
The mainstream media’s leap to judge Sandmann as the instigator resulted in numerous defamation lawsuits, several of which have already been settled.
While the actual settlements are confidential, considering the size of the initial suits, it is safe to assume that Sandmann now has tens of millions of dollars in the bank courtesy of CNN and the Washington Post.
Even though it is unlikely that Sandmann will ever have to work for the rest of his life, he has just accepted a position with Senator McConnell’s campaign — and he’s already on the job:

Hogg vs. Sandmann
I called this a coup for McConnell because the left has had another student, David Hogg, front and center ever since the 2018 Parkland school shooting. Of course, Republicans also have student groups supporting them, but they lacked someone with such national exposure. Furthermore, with young conservatives such a rare commodity these days, McConnell has landed the biggest fish in a very small pond.
McConnell, as the Senate Majority Leader, is target number one for Democrats, so he needs all the help he can get, and Sandmann should give him a good boost. “Along with our already strong team, his efforts to bring people together all across Kentucky will be critical to Senator McConnell’s victory this November,” said campaign manager Kevin Golden.
Congratulations, Nick, and good luck!
