Kellyanne Conway’s cousin and Mike Pence’s nephew wed in New Jersey

A Pence and a Conway took vows of marriage this weekend, but it was not the vice president and one of Trump’s top advisers who were joined in matrimony.

Josh Pence, nephew of Mike Pence, and Giovanna Coia, a cousin of Kellyanne Conway, were married this weekend in New Jersey, according to Fox News.

The Happy Couple

While the couple’s relationship history was not highly publicized, it seems that the two met working for the Trump campaign and/or administration.

John Pence is currently an adviser for the Trump campaign and as stated above, is a nephew of our vice president. Giovanna Coia is a first cousin of Kellyanne Conway as well as a communications aide for the White House.

The couple was engaged for about a year, a fact which was first announced by Coia last September after Pence asked for her hand.

The wedding took place in Atlantic City and the VIP treatment was in effect, with the FAA putting flight restrictions in place all day Saturday over the area.

Budding Careers

Both John and Coia seem well on their way to follow in the family business. Pence is getting exceptional experience working for the Trump campaign and the backing of his famous uncle will surely help him in future endeavors.

As far as Coia goes, she is just getting started, but clearly has the connections in place for a bright career.

A Sicklerville, New Jersey native, Coia attended The Catholic University of America in D.C.

For four months, she worked for Rep. Steve King (R-IA), then moved on to work as a research associate for The Polling Company during the 2016 election, a company once owned by Kellyanne Conway.

After Trump was elected and Conway signed on as an adviser, Coia followed, taking on the role of press assistant at the White House.

Best wishes on your journey together, John and Giovanna, and good luck in your careers!
