Florida is a crucial battleground state in the November election, and billionaire Michael Bloomberg is going all out to ensure it goes for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
President Donald Trump will need to be sure that he can counter any moves made by Biden’s extremely affluent supporters. Trump himself can easily match anything the left throws at him, but the overflow of cash in our elections is something that should concern all Americans.
Buying the election
Democrats know that they cannot match the energy of President Trump’s campaign or the enthusiasm of his base. Many of the active parts of the Democrat party checked out the minute Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) bowed out of the race.
So to match the organic support of the American people, Democrats are turning to billionaires who can saturate the airwaves with ads.
Trump has responded to the news of Bloomberg’s plans, saying, “I thought Mini Mike was through with Democrat politics after spending almost 2 Billion Dollars, and then giving the worst and most inept Debate Performance in the history of Presidential Politics. Pocahontas ended his political career on first question, OVER! Save NYC instead.”
Though he was by far the wealthiest candidate to ever run for president in America, Bloomberg’s bid for the White House was a complete failure. His billions bought him all the ads that he could wish for but they couldn’t make up for what he offered the American people.
Ironically, Bloomberg is in much better shape than Biden is, and while far from a good debater, he would at least be able to tell you what year it is.
The key to victory for Democrats is hammering Trump with billions of dollars in slickly-produced ads and keeping the truth of Biden’s health from the American people.
Ironically, Democrats have long claimed to be the party of the people and can often be heard advocating for wealth taxes and the like. But that flies in the face of the fact that Democrats are quite happy to accept donations from the wealthiest people in the nation.
Two members of America’s super-wealthy class, Tom Steyer and Bloomberg, both ran for president as Democrats in the primaries.
Democrats are gaslighting Americans and that is only the beginning of the dishonesty being leveled at the American people daily. The most privileged and wealthy Americans are investing heavily in defeating President Trump, and that should tell you whose side Trump is on.
