Melania Trump spotted in New York

Melania Trump was spotted in New York on Tuesday, one of a handful of public appearances since her husband's conviction in May over "hush money."

The former First Lady, dressed in dazzling all-white, was photographed entering Trump Tower on a sunny summer day while surrounded by Secret Service.

Her appearance in NYC was a rare sight.

Melania makes appearance in New York

Melania has been largely absent from the campaign trail as her husband pursues a bold comeback campaign.

Trump was at a rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday. The state is expected to once again be a critical battleground in the presidential election.

This is the first time Melania has been seen publicly since June 4, when she was spotted leaving Trump Tower with her son Barron. He was not with his mother on Tuesday.

The former First Lady was nowhere in sight during her husband's "hush money" trial in New York and has yet to say anything about the guilty verdict on 34 felony counts of "falsifying business records."

The prosecution shined an awkward light on Melania's marriage to Trump and his alleged affair with a porn star, Stormy Daniels, who shared graphic testimony with the court.

Trump has ripped the trial as a sham, and his wife - despite her public silence - is said to share his view that the whole thing was a political "disgrace."

Melania has fundraiser planned

Speaking on Melania's behalf in a recent interview, Trump confessed that the "fake" trial coverage has been tough on her.

But the famously stoic First Lady hasn't complained because she "sees that I’m fighting like hell" to save the country, Trump added.

“I don’t think it’s an easy thing for her,” he said. “And I think if it wasn’t good, she wouldn’t want to tell me about it to be honest with you. Because, you know, she sees that I’m fighting like hell, I’m trying to become president and make America great again.”

Despite being branded a "convicted felon," Donald Trump is neck-and-neck with his rival Joe Biden in the polls. Trump would, if victorious, be only the second president in history to serve two non-consecutive terms (the other being Grover Cleveland.)

Melania Trump is set to host second fundraiser with the Log Cabin Republicans, an LGBT Republican group, at Trump Tower in July.
