Melania Trump announces opening of new Florida-based office

She and her husband were rather quiet in the weeks after the 2020 election, but former First Lady Melania Trump has broken her silence this week with an announcement that’s sure to have her loyal fans filled with excitement.

Mrs. Trump took to Twitter on Friday to announce the official opening of her official, post-White House office, which will be located at her Mar-a-Lago estate, the Washington Examiner reported.

The newly-revealed, official headquarters of the former first lady is aptly named, “The Office of Melania Trump.”

What did she say?

The announcement came on Friday, in a newly-opened Twitter account that already has over 100,000 followers as of this writing, named the “Office of Melania Trump” with the username of “@OfficeofMelania.” In one of the first tweets sent from the account, she directed her supporters to follow the account for future “news and updates.”

Breitbart published an exclusive statement they received from Mrs. Trump’s new office, which explains exactly how she plans to utilize her new headquarters while offering a glimpse into the post-presidency Trump household.

“She has always been a humanitarian and an entrepreneur by nature. She has many different ideas, and it will take time to establish them. No matter what she decides to do, it will be done with quality and passion,” the Office of Melania Trump wrote in a statement.

Not surprisingly, it also revealed that Mrs. Trump’s first order of business will revolve around focusing on her family and making sure everyone settles into their new, post-White House home in Florida, according to the same statement.

What happens next?

In an earlier report from the Washington Examiner, sources close to the former first lady indicated that she will continue working on her well-received “Be Best” campaign, which focuses on helping children embrace healthy lifestyle choices while making them aware of the dangers of drug addiction and other potential life pitfalls.

“I feel strongly that as adults we can and should be best at educating our children about a healthy and balanced life,” Trump said when she announced the campaign in May 2018, while warning of the destructive behavior that children can fall into when not properly guided by their parents.

Her new office will be staffed with a few familiar faces, including her chief of staff Hayley D’Antuono, former East Wing staff assistant Mary “Casey” Finzer, and senior adviser Marcia Kelly.

Mrs. Trump joins her husband in the opening of an official office after leaving the White House. Donald Trump recently announced the opening of the “Office of the Former President,” which will also be headquartered at Mar-a-Lago and focus on the former president’s future communications regarding his planned involvement in Republican politics.
