Any doubts about the recent split between Meghan King, the former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star, and Cuffe Owens, the nephew of President Joe Biden, can be dispelled.

Fox News reported that King has revealed she is back to dating only a month after their split. Looks like the marriage is really over. 

It’s over

King made the revelation during a recent appearance on the “Two T’s In A Pod” podcast, which is co-hosted by Tamra Judge, one of King’s “Real Housewives” co-stars, and Teddi Mellencamp.

King said:

I’m going on dates and stuff. I was married, but it was such a whirlwind, and from start to finish with him was only three months, which was just stupid of me to marry him, but I did. It doesn’t feel like a marriage, it feels like a three-month dating relationship that was an abrupt start and an abrupt end.

King went on to reveal that she has been talking to her therapist about her breakup with Owens and that her therapists have helped her to realize that the marriage wasn’t as “serious” as she has made it out to be.

“I learned a lesson, and it’s time to move on,” King said.

“I think about it as a memory, and I’m sad it didn’t work out. I had hopes for it . . . but it’s fine,” she added. “It literally feels like a nostalgic memory.”

Background

In December, King revealed that she and Owens were breaking up after only two months of marriage.

It was just a few months prior, in September of 2021, that King and Owens officially went public with their relationship. And, it wasn’t long after that, in early October, that the two got married.

King once explained how the two met, saying, “We connected on a dating app, texted for a day or two, then spent five straight hours on the phone the first time we spoke.”

She continued:

By the time that call ended, Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis that took off in about eight hours. Within a week, we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together. We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks.

Her recent interview on “Two T’s In A Pod” would suggest that King moved on from the marriage just as quickly as she moved into it.
