White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany humiliated House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday, The Hill reported, after the California Democrat was caught hitting a San Francisco salon without a mask and in violation of a local ordinance.
McEnany put footage of Pelosi’s ill-received salon footage on loop as she blasted the House speaker to open up Thursday’s White House press briefing.
“Two briefings ago I asked: ‘Where is Nancy Pelosi?’ Today, I can announce: We have found Nancy Pelosi,” McEnany began, according to a transcript from the White House.
“Do as I say…”
She went on: “As you can see, we found Nancy Pelosi going into her hair salon. We will be playing the video on loop for all of you to see during the duration of this introduction.”
McEnany went on to blast Pelosi for worrying about her hair despite the fact that Congress still hasn’t passed legislation to provide additional relief to Americans amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Nancy Pelosi was not in the halls of Congress when I asked where she was. She was not working in good faith to make a deal for the American people,” the White House press secretary said. “Nope. Nancy Pelosi was found in San Francisco, at a hair salon, where she was indoors, even though salons in California are not — only open for outdoor service.”
McEnany added: “Apparently, the rules do not apply to Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She wants small businesses to stay shut down but only reopen for her convenience. ‘Do as I say, not as I do,’ says Nancy Pelosi.”
“You ought to apologize”
According to The Hill, McEnany called on the House speaker to apologize to Americans for her elitist actions.
“Nancy Pelosi, you ought to apologize to the American people, or better yet, come back to Washington and get to work for hardworking Americans like this salon owner that you maligned and demanded an apology from,” she said.

This is, at the very least, a very bad look for Pelosi months before an election. Even CNN published an op-ed sharply criticizing Pelosi over “salon-gate” and suggesting that the speaker “will never live this one down.”
When even CNN is acknowledging that Pelosi is a “hypocrite” offering up “half baked” excuses for her behavior, you know things are going pretty badly for those on the left.
