Maxine Waters embarrasses herself while questioning bank CEOs

April 12, 2019 by Jerry McCormick

Between Rep. Maxine Waters’ groundless calls to impeach President Donald Trump and her blatant blunders in Congress, people have seen and heard about all they can take.

More and more petitions and citizens have been calling for the California Democrat to be removed from Congress — and judging from her embarrassing display of ignorance in Congress this week, she deserves it.

Big Blunders

When representatives are part of a congressional committee, they are expected to be aware of the laws and regulations related to their committee.

That doesn’t appear to be the case with Waters, even though she is the Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee.

She completely embarrassed herself while attempting to grill a group of big bank CEOs who were called to testify during a hearing this week.

When Waters tried to attack the bank CEOs over student loans, they had to remind her that the government took over student loans a decade ago…

Waters quickly changed the subject.

Growing Outrage

This is an embarrassment for Waters and the Democrat party.

As much as Democrats are going after Trump right now, they cannot afford to have Waters make them look even worse than they do.

She should not be heading the finance committee and she doesn’t deserve to be a representative either.

The more people know about these blunders, the louder and more powerful the calls to remove her from office will become.
