The left is having a major meltdown right now.
So much so, MSNBC host Chris Matthews is still insisting that President Donald Trump should do the right thing and resign.

Making His Case
Matthews, in case you forgot, is the man who made some rather disgusting comments about first lady Melania Trump not so long ago. For some reason, he is still allowed on the air.
Instead of taking advantage of his second chance, he continues to tout false narratives about Trump.
Matthews insists there is proof of collusion as well as obstruction of justice. But, you see, if there was no crime, there can be no obstruction.
To make his case, Matthews compared Trump to Nixon. “I think Nixon had shame. It may have not been moral shame, but it was political shame,” he said.
He went on to say that Nixon resigned because “he knew he blew it.”
Apples and Oranges
Comparing these two cases is like comparing apples and oranges. You just can’t do it. There was hard evidence against Nixon that could not be denied.
In the case of Donald Trump, he rode out the storm only to have a two-year investigation leave him innocent of all charges. Robert Mueller left no doubt that Trump did nothing wrong, so why would he resign?
Unfortunately, pundits today are incapable of separating policy from person, as are many of today’s voters. But you don’t have to like Trump personally to support his policy agenda.
The liberal media may personally despise Trump, but that does not give them the right or even a reason to ask him to resign his office.
