Man found dead at home of Democrat megadonor Ed Buck

Protests erupted after a man was found dead in the home of major Democrat donor and political activist Ed Buck — the second such death in less than two years.

According to reports, a man was found dead at Buck’s West Hollywood home early Monday morning. Police have only identified the man as an “adult black male” and have not yet released a cause of death.

Buck is a Democratic megadonor who has contributed to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, former President Barack Obama, and Arizona Sen. Krysten Sinema.

Photos of Buck posing with prominent Democrats, including Hillary Clinton, can be found online.

History Repeating Itself

In July 2017, Gemmel Moore, a 26-year-old black male escort, was found dead of what the coroner’s office ruled to be a methamphetamine overdose in Buck’s home, surrounded by drug paraphernalia.

Moore apparently had several encounters with Buck prior to his death.

It was reported at the time Moore had written in a personal journal how Buck allegedly injected him with drugs when he was at Buck’s home, leading him to become addicted.

“I’ve become addicted to drugs and the worst one at that,” Moore wrote in his journal, according to the Los Angeles Times. “Ed Buck is the one to thank, he gave me my first injection.”

“If it didn’t hurt so bad I’d kill myself but I’ll let Ed Buck do it for now,” read another journal entry.

This was reportedly regular behavior for Buck, as he was allegedly meeting young men through dating websites.

Buck was investigated but eventually cleared.

At the time, many outlets suspected Buck, a prominent LGBT activist and Democratic donor, might have benfitted from his high-level political connections.

Not This Time

After this second death, though, the outrage might not be swept away so easily.

Two city council members, John D’Amico and Lindsey Horvath, have already requested the investigation into this man’s death be made a high priority for Sheriff Alex Villanueva.

A third council member, Lauren Meister, is demanding the LAPD Homicide Division investigate this death.

Local community members are aghast at the events and clearly want some justice in this matter.

Sadly, this is the type of behavior Democrats regularly seem to look past when someone has deep pockets.

Even more bothersome is the fact this is not the first time someone with questionable behavior has been linked to high-profile Democrats, most notably the Clintons.

We’ll be watching this one.
