The Democracy Integrity Project (TDIP), led by Daniel Jones, has been one of the biggest pushers of the media’s campaign to impeach President Donald Trump.
And as it turns out, one of the major financial backers of the organization is none other than George Soros.
Spreading the Narrative
What Soros is doing through TDIP should be illegal.
In essence, the organization is doing exactly what Trump and his campaign were accused of doing with the Russians.
Indeed, a report from Real Clear Investigations (RCI) has exposed an intricate strategy devised by TDIP to continue to feed the narrative of Trump-Russia collusion: TDIP was reportedly feeding negative stories about Trump to all the major media outlets in the hopes they would run with them.
That same information was also being sent to congressional investigators, as well as the FBI.
This was done so the organization could tell reporters that these matters were already being investigated by Congress and federal authorities.
Simply put, it was a way for the organization to give its own misinformation more credibility in the eyes of the journalists.
It Never Ends
The organization also sends out an almost-daily email newsletter that they tout as research, which gives a summary of the latest collusion stories and “points of interest” about Trump’s ties to Russia.
The recipients of this newsletter are many of the powers that be in the media sector, including producers for major cable networks.
In addition to gathering information, the organization also reportedly employs a team of ghostwriters to create their own negative stories about Trump.
The leader of the organization has also been linked to Fusion GPS, the firm that funded the now-infamous Christopher Steele-created dossier of discrediting information about Donald Trump.
Much like the Steele Dossier, most of the information Jones is peddling is false, yet he spends hundreds of thousands of dollars — some of which came from Soros — legitimizing the stories through this network. Disgusting.
