The trickle-down effect of the allegations against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh are starting to come to fruition.
Kavanaugh will not be teaching at Harvard Law School next semester, the school announced Monday. Harvard Law students and alumni have been protesting Kavanaugh over the last week, asking for his class to be cancelled and filing Title IX complaints.
Kavanaugh has taught classes at Harvard Law School since 2008.
Truth Doesn’t Matter
One would think that law students, of all people, would respect due process, but that is not the case here.
Over 800 Harvard Law School alumni have signed an online letter, published Friday, asking the school to cancel Kavanaugh’s class. “The accusations against Judge Kavanaugh, including those by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, are credible and grave,” the letter read, adding that the accusations “should disqualify him from any position of esteem, including lectureships at HLS.”
On Monday, the school told students, “Today, Judge Kavanaugh indicated that he can no longer commit to teaching his course in January Term 2019, so the course will not be offered.”
Liberalism has won out over the truth at Harvard.
The moment allegations were made against Kavanaugh, every liberal in this country, including those in office, decided Kavanaugh was guilty.
When Republicans continued to stand by Kavanaugh due to a lack of proof, the outrage erupted around the country.
So much so, in fact, Kavanaugh has become worried about the safety for his little girls and wife.
The fact these children are being threatened is despicable, but it is not even being decried by Democrats in office.
Future at Risk
Nobody would ever discourage a woman that has been assaulted to keep quiet.
The problem, though, is when allegations are either false or are made against the wrong person.
As more and more people dig into the accusers’ stories, it is becoming quite apparent one of those scenarios is the situation here.
Unfortunately, regardless of whether any of the allegations are ever substantiated, the damage has been done.
And if for some reason Kavanaugh is not confirmed, it is reasonable to assume Democrats will try to have him impeached from his D.C. Circuit Court appointment, destroying his career.
There is also the personal aspect of this very public character assassination, something everyone is ignoring.
Kavanaugh has already hinted that because of the allegations against him, which he vehemently denies, he may never be able to coach his daughters’ basketball teams again, something he says he enjoys.
And what about going out in public to even see his girls play at a sporting event or attend a school function?
What are the chances of Kavanaugh being out in public with his children and some liberal lunatic verbally or physically attacking him?
The FBI investigation findings are expected to be announced on Friday, but it will be far from the end of this ordeal for Kavanaugh.
