Extremist lunacy is starting to rear its ugly head against Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his family.
Many believe that the 2016 presidential campaign season showed America at its worst.
While many Americans debated the election reasonably, there were some extremists on both sides of the aisle that took things too far.
Because that behavior is often sensationalized further — and, in the case of liberals, justified by the media — it has seeped into normal society.
That same behavior has now reared its head against both Kavanaugh and his family.
It is reasonable to assume that 90 percent of the threats made are by idiots with too much time on their hands.
However, there are always a few that law enforcement really worry about.
For Judge Kavanaugh, there are now several of those types of threats being investigated.
And the threats are not just being made against the judge; his wife, Ashley, has reportedly received a slew of death threats.
She has also reportedly received several graphic emails meant to upset her.
The people sending them are trying to camouflage them as being from a friend, using the subject line of “Hi Ashley” in the hopes she will open them.
Thankfully, Kavanaugh has been under protection ever since he was nominated by Trump.
However, that protection does not extend to his family.
In addition to his wife, Kavanaugh has two young daughters now being subject to these threats.
This insanity is not likely to subside anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, has been invited to speak in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, but no date has yet been confirmed.
It is unclear if her testimony will be given in a public or private setting.
