Although it’s hard to believe, the Kavanaugh saga just got even muddier.
GOP investigators spoke with two unnamed witnesses this week who each said they, not Judge Brett Kavanaugh, could the assailant Christine Blasey Ford referred to in her allegations.
Christine Blasey Ford says she is 100 percent sure the person that assaulted her at a high school party more than three decades ago was Brett Kavanaugh.
When she made her allegations, she named four other people that were allegedly at the event, one, of course, being Brett Kavanaugh.
All four of those individuals have come forward to say the incident never happened.
However, someone else has come forward to say he believes Ford could be mistaking Kavanaugh for him.
The Senate committee released a statement Wednesday about the man who they interviewed on Monday.
The committee said they had conducted their “first interview with a man who believes he, not Judge Kavanaugh, had the encounter with Dr. Ford in 1982 that is the basis of his [sic] complaint.” They also conducted a second interview with him the next day.
Reportedly, investigators also spoke with another man with a similar claim this week.
Whether either individual is credible or not is unclear at this time.
The Democrats, however, have already denounced these new developments as false.
They believe this “confession” was given as a way of muddying the waters to cast doubt on Ford’s claim.
Dems have upped their own conspiracy theory game by insinuating at the very least, Republicans put these men up to it to take the fall for Kavanaugh.
While Democrats get on their high horse about these men coming forward, they continue to push two allegations that are clearly bogus.
Deborah Ramirez’s claim that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a college party has been completely shredded.
The salacious accusation put forth by lawyer Michael Avenatti for his client Julie Swetnick, making Kavanaugh out to be some type of serial gang rapist, has also been blown apart.
On Thursday, both Ford and Kavanaugh testified in a Senate hearing, and the Democrats’ conduct during the testimony was nothing more than soapboxing for five minutes at a time.
It was quite clear Democrats are not willing to hear Kavanaugh with an open mind and have no intention whatsoever of supporting him as a Supreme Court Justice — no matter what the truth is.
