President Joe Biden signed an executive order in March 2021 “promoting voting rights,” in response to the alleged assault on voting rights by former President Trump.
Now over a year later, the executive order, directing all federal agencies to produce “a strategic plan outlining the ways identified under this review that the agency can promote voter registration and voter participation,” has reared its ugly head. As it turns out, the Biden administration is hiding their plans by any means necessary.
A Freedom of Information Act request filed by the Foundation for Government Accountability has met strong resistance from the Justice Department, which is refusing to comply and release its strategic plan.
Biden admin hiding something bad
President Biden’s executive order to “promote voting rights” should concern all Americans ahead of an election in which Democrats are expected to be crushed.
It isn’t unthinkable that President Biden and his administration would resort to dirty tricks and cheating to maintain power.
The Justice Department’s stonewalling of any and all efforts to uncover what they are doing to enact Executive order 14019 only adds to the evidence suggesting that Democrats are working to steal the election.
The Foundation for Government Accountability certainly seems to be concerned that the Biden administration is concocting a plan to influence the election.
The concern is shared by many Republicans, including Representative Ted Budd (R-NC), who introduced legislation in July that would have prohibited federal agencies from working with partisan groups to mobilize voters.
Obviously, with Democrats in control of Congress, Budd’s legislation had little chance of succeeding. However, there is a genuine threat to our free and fair elections, and Republicans must kick into high gear and fight back.
Control of Congress is key for Republicans if they wish to stop President Joe Biden’s destructive agenda.
The Senate is currently split 50-50, meaning a handful of races will decide the balance of power for the next two years. Democrats have a stronger hold on the House of Representatives, but Republicans have good chances at victory.
President Biden knows he will be a lame-duck President if Republicans win and all the secrecy from the Justice Department suggests that Biden isn’t going to let that happen without a fight.
