Judge Jeanine rips ‘cleaner’ Robert Mueller over Benghazi, Trump investigation

It is no secret that Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro isn’t a fan of the special counsel investigation led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller that is looking into allegations of “collusion” between the Trump campaign and Russian government during the 2016 election.

In her “Opening Statement” on Saturday’s program, Pirro ripped into Mueller for ignoring evidence of crimes by Democrats and Obama administration personnel because of his focus on President Trump while also slamming him for covering up previous government messes, such as the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack.

Pirro began the segment by comparing Mueller to a mafia “cleaner” whose job is to come in after a hit to clean up and dispose of the evidence of a crime.

Ignoring the real crime

In the case of the Trump/Russia collusion narrative, Pirro asserted that Mueller is a “serial cleaner” who’s “been in the business a long time” and knows how to clean up after botched government operations, such as the effort to spy on Trump’s campaign and frame him for alleged collusion with Russia.

Pirro ran through a summation of what is known thus far of the conspiracy to frame Trump, and named names while she suggested he was ignoring or covering up the “real crimes” committed by members of the Obama administration and their anti-Trump allies.

“What I don’t get Bob, is how you can sit there under this sanctimonious veil as if you are holier-than-thou and not be investigating the real crime that keeps jumping out at you and us every week,” asked Pirro.

She further wondered why Mueller wasn’t investigating fired FBI Director James Comey, fired FBI agent Peter Strzok, or fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, or demoted DOJ attorney Bruce Ohr, or any of the host of characters involved in the creation and use of the anti-Trump dossier to spy on the campaign.

Benghazi

Pirro then delved into Mueller’s “credentials” as a “cleaner” for the government and pointed to his actions — or rather inaction — in the aftermath of the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that saw four Americans killed, and questioned why it took so long for then-FBI Director Mueller to send a team to the crime scene to investigate.

“You testified after four Americans are killed in Benghazi, to cover for Hillary Clinton’s incompetence,” asserted Pirro. “Bob, why would you say the FBI couldn’t get to Benghazi in time — it took two to three weeks.”

“They needed someone to say the FBI couldn’t get to Benghazi, since it was way too dangerous,” she continued. “Bob, honestly, you look and sound like a fool. CNN and just about every newspaper in the country and the world got there. They made it there, but the FBI couldn’t?”

“Hey, I get it. A good cleaner, Bob, wants a crime scene as trampled as possible,” she added. “But you know Bob, we’re all getting tired of this, and this all comes down to your effort to get Donald Trump indicted and you are panicking, you’ve got nothing, and talk of subpoenaing him is ridiculous.”
