Juanita Broaddrick, who has long alleged that she was raped by Bill Clinton, spoke to the media outside the Senate building during Thursday’s hearings — and she didn’t mince words.
Broaddrick denounced the Democrats for “the biggest double standard I’ve ever seen” in their treatment of Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
There’s no comparison between their treatment of Ford compared to herself, Broaddrick said. “Because Dr. Ford has no evidence, I had the who, what, when, where and how and had five people that I told, not even counting the woman who found me 30 minutes after the rape with a swollen busted lip, torn clothes and in a state of shock,” she said.
What About Me?
Broaddrick has been paying attention to the accusations against Kavanaugh very closely.
She has also noticed the role the Dems are playing — and it does not compare well to the role they played in her case.
When Broaddrick made her rape allegation against former President Bill Clinton, the Democrats would have nothing to do with her.
Unlike Kavanaugh — who has scores of friends who stood up to vouch for his character — Clinton has a long history of alleged misconduct with women.
His “adventures” as Governor of Arkansas were quite well documented, yet, along with other Democrats, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) could not give Broaddrick’s story one minute of her day.
Broaddrick accused Clinton of raping her in a motel room in 1978 and has stuck to her story throughout the years.
On the hypocrisy, Broaddrick stated, “They would have nothing to do with it. That shows you the difference in the double standard that existed then and still does today.”
The obvious difference here is that Broaddrick was making a case against a Democrat and Kavanaugh was appointed by a Republican president.
Significant Support by Women
More than 100 women have come forward so far to support Judge Kavanaugh as he fights to clear his name.
In addition to two former girlfriends, many women that have known Kavanaugh from high school through the current day have vouched for his character.
From high school to college to his professional career, all we have hear are stories of a complete gentleman.
On the flip side of that, Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Blasey Ford has been unable to find a single contemporaneous witness to back up her story.
The Democrats like to say they “believe women.” But their historical record speaks volumes about their true intentions.
How long will voters keep falling for this?
