Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis, who created and is pursuing an odd "organized crime" case against President Donald J. Trump and more than a dozen others over their statements regarding the 2020 election, is facing a slew of scandals.

There was another added this week, when Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, the chief of the House Judiciary Committee, issued her a subpoena demanding that she document details of her spending of any federal funds.

She's already facing a possible impeachment move in the state, and it's been suggested she step down from the Trump case because of conflicts of interest, and more.

Much of it is tied to the fact she used tax money to hire a special attorney to handle the RICO case against Trump, even though the lawyer was inexperienced on that subject.

Further, paid him a rate higher than other hired lawyers, and lied about it to taxpayers. Then, too, the lawyer, Nathan Wade, purportedly was in a relationship with Willis, in which he took her on exotic trips using tax money she had arranged for him to get.

Willis had been told to testify in a divorce case involving Wade and his now ex-wife.

Even beyond that, her novel interpretation of the laws she's using has drawn criticism from legal experts.

Now the New York Post said among the things Jordan is requiring are documents "that could pertain to her alleged affair with the man she hired to be the top prosecutor against Donald Trump."

Willis, a Democrat, already has refused to voluntarily share records regarding Wade.

The report noted, "Willis and Wade have not denied having an affair, which was first alleged in court papers on Jan. 8 by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman, who said Willis had a glaring conflict of interest in the case."

Willis’ office has paid Wade $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022.

The new subpoena, the report said, is broad enough to require submission of documents about Wade.

Jordan requires, "all documents and communications referring or relating to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office’s receipt and use of federal funds” and “all documents and communications referring or relating to any allegations of the misuse of federal funds by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, including, but not limited to federal funds."

The Daily Caller News Foundation pointed out just days ago a multitude of questions Willis should answer in the case.

Those include exactly what is her relationship with Wade, how much did Wade spend on vacations he took with Willis, why did she leave the county in the dark about how much she was spending to attack Trump, why did Wade get a special, higher, pay rate, and what did Wade's law partners do for the money Wilils paid them?
