Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) has subpoenaed the FBI for information related to a "purge" of conservative individuals in the FBI.
Jordan, who is the head of the House Judiciary Committee, confirmed on Monday that he had reached out to the FBI and intends to use his Congressional power to uncover just how far the corruption in the FBI runs.
Russell Dye, Jordan's spokesman, said that "Today, Chairman Jordan issued a subpoena to Jennifer Leigh Moore, Executive Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, after she refused to answer questions during her transcribed interview about the FBI’s retaliation against brave whistleblowers who have come forward to raise concerns about abuses they have seen at the Bureau."
Jordan isn't playing softball with the FBI and that should encourage Americans who have watched the FBI and the general intelligence community spin out of control.
As it stands, whistleblowers have accused the FBI of retaliating against them and an FBI official is refusing to answer to Congress to clear those allegations.
When the Daily Wire reached out to the FBI for a response to this subpoena, they claimed Moore complied to the best of her ability but she was under certain constraints.
The FBI claimed that Moore was protecting the "integrity of the process and the privacy of the individuals," by refusing to answer questions about retaliation.
The Judiciary Committee has been working to expose the weaponization of the FBI for months and in November they released a report detailing some of their alarming findings.
The report revealed that evidence of a radical leftist culture "is buttressed by previous, documented examples of political bias ingrained in the FBI’s leadership culture — for example, when a senior FBI official wrote derisively to a colleague that he ‘could SMELL the Trump support’ at a Walmart in southern Virginia, or when an FBI attorney altered evidence in support of the FBI’s warrantless surveillance of a Trump campaign associate."
Such open partisanship in the FBI is extremely dangerous and means that conservative Americans can no longer trust the FBI to be objective and just.
Whistleblowers allege that FBI leadership has effectively declared open season on conservatives and the recent actions of the FBI reinforce those allegations.
The FBI was recently caught red-handed exploring the possibility of inserting spies into Catholic Churches to combat alleged White supremacists.
The FBI also has a long history over the past decade of either targeting conservatives or using excessive force to intimidate conservatives.
