The feud between President Donald Trump and Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reached a fever pitch this past week following sharp rhetoric and verbal sparring back and forth between the two. Pelosi initially accused Trump of being “engaged in a cover-up,” and following Trump’s response of abruptly canceling a White House meeting on infrastructure, suggested his mental health was in decline and he was in need of an “intervention.”
On Saturday, Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro used her “Opening Statement” segment to directly address Pelosi’s comments and all of the things that have transpired to bring us to this point in time.
Pelosi and Democrats obsessed with Trump
Pirro set the stage by highlighting now Democrats in Congress were unwilling to accept the conclusions put forward by special counsel Robert Mueller following his two-year investigation into alleged “collusion” between Trump and Russia in 2016.
Unsatisfied by the veritable exoneration of “no collusion, no obstruction” touted by the president, House Democrats have launched a plethora of their own investigations in what is increasingly being viewed as an effort to “re-do” the Mueller investigation on their own accord.
The undeniable goal of those efforts is to see Trump removed from office, either via an impeachment or by smearing him so badly prior to the 2020 election that he would face certain defeat..
“Batty” Nancy Pelosi
Following a clip of Democrat Michigan Rep. Debbie Dingell claiming Trump was “pouring kerosene” on the divisive rhetorical fire raging across America, Pirro said, “He’s not putting kerosene on the fire. They are!”
“He doesn’t need an intervention, Nancy. You need the intervention,” she continued. “Nancy, you haven’t recovered from the 2016 election, and it’s driving you batty.”
Recalling how Trump remained in the White House during the government shutdown while House Democrats enjoyed the holidays, Pirro said, “And because you can’t win fair and square, you’re ilk wants to change the rules, get rid of the Electoral College, and now Schiff and Nadler and Cummings and Waters all meet to discuss what more you can do in an effort to continue to keep this man under fire.”
“Bottom line, Nancy: The man is doing what we elected him to do, while you haven’t done a damn thing as you seethe in the hatred and vitriol and your obsession to get ‘your’ truth,” Pirro said.
She went on: “Nancy, you already got the truth, and Nancy, you can’t handle the truth, so just knock it the hell off, follow his lead and start doing the job you were elected to do.”

Pirro is correct. If there is anybody on Capitol Hill that is in need of an “intervention,” it is Pelosi and her Democratic caucus, all of whom are seemingly incapable of accepting the reality of the world around them, and who remain obsessed with attempting to overturn the legitimate results of the 2016 election.
