James Dobson, the adviser to a long list of presidents, prolific author of dozens of Christian books, and the founder of the James Dobson Family Institute, has released a statement through his ministry delivering a blunt recommendation to those who have access to Joe Biden.

Teach him what Thanksgiving is.

The statement followed Biden's Thanksgiving address to the nation in which he ignored God completely, and said, "It is left to us to teach [children] that Thanksgiving is about being grateful to God.

"Sadly, someone needs to teach this fact to President Joe Biden, too. He issued a Thanksgiving proclamation that didn’t mention God at all. Instead, Biden suggested the day’s purpose was to thank America for our blessings. This is not true. The purpose is for America to honor and thank God. This is not a minor distinction," that statement explained.

"America, like all nations of the earth, will eventually end. But God will never 'end.' Interestingly, the only other administration to omit God from its Thanksgiving proclamations was the Obama/Biden administration.

"This year, this failure of the Biden administration to acknowledge God on Thanksgiving of all days is more than disappointing. Our whole constitutional Republic was built on the truth found in the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, that our liberty is given to us by 'our Creator.' There is no doubt that our founders were referring to the God of the Bible. I don’t think the failure to thank God in Biden’s Thanksgiving Proclamation was accidental. I believe it reflects the growing secularization of America and the ongoing effort to rip America out of the rich soil of Judeo-Christian civilization."

Dobson has been called by secular publications the nation's "most influential evangelical leader," and he also founded the prominent Family Research Council in the 1980s.

He has written dozens of books that have sold millions of copies, including "Dare to Discipline," "The Strong-Willed Child," "Bringing Up Boys," "Bringing up Girls," "When God Doesn't Make Sense" and more.

Biden's holiday statement claimed the Pilgrims celebrated to honor the support and generosity of the Wampanoag people, George Washington celebrated en route to Valley Forge, and Abraham Lincoln honored "the blessings of our country."

He claimed America is a "truly good nation because we are a good people."

Biden cited, "firefighters, police officers, first responders" "doctors, nurses, scientists, public servants, union workers, and teachers."

He claimed, "May we all remember that we are the United States of America – there is nothing beyond our capacity if we do it together."

He was criticized, however, for that essential call for unity when his pro-DEI, pro-green, pro-transgender, and pro-abortion agenda points have divided the nation as no other president ever had.

It was President Donald Trump whose statement on the holiday thanked God.

He said Americans give thanks to "Almighty God" for "His many blessings including our families, our friends, our neighbors, and this extraordinary country that we all call home."

He said:

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving today. As we gather with our loved ones, we give thanks to Almighty God for His many blessings including our families, our friends, our neighbors and this extraordinary country that we all call home.

We also send our deep gratitude to all of the patriots serving our nation in uniform this Thanksgiving including members of the U.S. armed forces. the heroes of Border Patrol and law enforcement and ICE and everybody that works so hard to preserve our system and our country and working to defend our southern border and our police and first responders in communities all across America.
