GOP Rep. Jackson: Biden’s physical exam was incomplete without cognitive test

President Joe Biden underwent a routine physical examination last week at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and received a clean bill of health.

For some critics, however, the exam was insufficient because it did not include a cognitive test.

“You deserve to know the truth!”

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who previously served as White House physician, has frequently expressed concerns about Biden’s mental fitness and addressed the perceived deficiency in the president’s latest physical.

In fact, the congressman speculated that such cognitive testing might have been excluded on purpose as part of the White House’s effort to address mounting concerns about Biden’s mental acuity.

Jackson addressed the issue during a Fox News Channel appearance on Monday as well as in a corresponding tweet.

When host Laura Ingraham asked if a cognitive assessment was “important” as part of Biden’s examination, Jackson replied: “Well, it’s absolutely important, Laura — especially in this particular situation.”

“Is this man cognitively fit to be our president?”

Noting that the nation’s oldest president just turned 79, the Texas Republican cited a recent poll showing nearly half of all Americans believe he is not fit to lead the country.

“Dr. [Kevin] O’Connor spent six pages talking about useless stuff that no one cares about and did not address the elephant in the room, which is: Is this man cognitively fit to be our president?” Jackson added.

He referenced the letter released by the current White House physician, which declared the president to be fully capable to carry out the duties of his office.

Of course, Jackson has long speculated that Biden is suffering from age-related cognitive decline and has called for him to undergo the same type of test administered to former President Donald Trump.

Most recently, he suggested that the administration is purposefully avoiding such a test because of the likelihood that Biden would “fail miserably,” thus validating the concerns many Americans have about his mental faculties.
