Since the conflict between Israel and Hamas erupted following the Palestinian terror group's Oct. 7 murderous campaign of atrocities against thousands of predominately civilian Israelis, there has been no mistaking where the loyalties of Palestinian-American Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) lie.

Now one of her Republican colleagues, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) has called for Tlaib's security clearance to be revoked and for her to be barred from receiving any classified briefings on anything related to the Israel-Hamas conflict, according to Fox News.

In support of that demand, Jackson accused Tlaib of being an antisemitic "Hamas sympathizer" who has willfully spread "misinformation" about the conflict and steadfastly refused to condemn the terror group's heinous acts while incessantly criticizing and slandering Israel's military response.

Tlaib accused of siding with Hamas against Israel and U.S.

On Thursday, in a letter addressed to Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Rep. Jackson wrote, "The United States must take all necessary actions to unequivocally stand with Israel and provide the Israeli people and the Israeli military any required aid as the country fights for its very existence in the unprovoked war launched by Hamas terrorists."

"To that end, I demand that Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib be prevented from participating in any classified briefing about Israel's ongoing military operations, Israel's self-defense efforts, or any American military movements in and around the region," he continued.

Noting the otherwise "broad bipartisan support" for Israel in Congress, Jackson said, "We must not allow Hamas sympathizers in this body to serve as the mouthpiece for Palestinian terrorists. Rather than condemn the attacks by Hamas, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has chosen to side with Hamas by spreading misinformation."

The Texas congressman added that it was "clear" that "Tlaib's allegiance lies with Hamas," that she couldn't be "trusted with sensitive information," and that her being involved in classified briefings would "threaten the integrity" of Israeli military operations and "put American and Israeli lives at risk."

Leveling false accusations and spreading Hamas "misinformation" and propaganda

Rep. Jackson went on his letter to point out that Rep. Tlaib has thus far refused to even comment on the "barbaric and medieval acts of terror" waged against "innocent Israeli citizens," much less specifically condemn the "atrocities" and "horrific acts" committed by Hamas.

That is confirmed by a review of both Tlaib's official and personal accounts on X-Twitter, where to date no mention is found of the suffering of the Israeli people but ample support is expressed for the Palestinians of Hamas-controlled Gaza and numerous accusations of "genocide" and "war crimes" have been lodged against Israel, along with accusations against the Biden administration for siding with genocidal war criminal Israelis over the Palestinian people.

Jackson also referenced how Tlaib had swiftly spread "misinformation" and what was essentially unproven Hamas propaganda about a supposed Israeli airstrike that leveled a hospital in Gaza and killed more than 500 people, when the reality of the situation was soon revealed to be an explosion in a parking lot near a hospital caused by a misfired Palestinian rocket -- as has since been confirmed by numerous media outlets and numerous governments, including the U.S. government.

The congressman further noted past examples of how Tlaib's "antisemitic behavior" was "nothing new," and wrote that she had "made her stance clear that she would rather support Hamas and other Iranian terrorist proxy organizations than support the self-defense of Israel and American interests in the Middle East."

"Her words and actions have made it clear that she is unable to be trusted with sensitive information, thus she should be barred from receiving classified updates on the war occurring in Israel," Jackson concluded. "I demand that her security clearance be revoked immediately and that she be prevented from participating in any relevant briefings."

Can't "let the enemy know your plans"

In a statement accompanying the letter about Rep. Tlaib, Rep. Jackson said, "I don’t know what’s more concerning, that we have Members of Congress who are antisemites and support Hamas, or that we let those Members of Congress attend classified briefings on the war in Israel. While I cannot control the fact that these leftists’ districts elect terrorist sympathizers to office, I will do everything in my power as a member of the House Armed Services and Foreign Affairs Committees to bar them from receiving American intelligence on the current situation in Israel."

"You do not let the enemy know your plans, and letting Representative Tlaib into these briefings is doing exactly that," he added. "Furthermore, this anti-American, anti-Jewish sentiment from elected 'leaders' must STOP, it is dangerous!"
