Iranian lawmakers chant on Parliament floor: ‘Death to America!’

Several weeks ago, the Iranian military attacked unarmed tanker ships, and last week, they downed a U.S. drone. But President Donald Trump stopped short of launching a full military retaliation against Iran — and it seems that Iran is taking full advantage of Trump’s leniency.

While Dems continue to portray Donald Trump as the aggressor, it is Iranian lawmakers who were caught attacking America, chanting, “Death to America!” during a recent session of their parliament.

Iranian Posturing

Iran is currently pushing the envelope to see exactly what it can get away with. The bombing of oil tankers was just the beginning.

It was bad, but there were no casualties, and they paid no real price for their actions. Then, the Iranian government targeted an unmanned drone, which cost our military at least $130 million.

Even so, Trump held back and rather than offer a military response, he hit Iran with more sanctions.

Now, deputy speaker of the Iranian parliament, Masoud Pezeshkian, is stoking the fire even more.

During Sunday’s session of Parliament, he stated: “America is the real terrorist in the world by spreading chaos in countries, giving advanced weapons to terrorist groups, causing insecurity, and still it says, ‘Come, let’s negotiate.’”

In response to his statements, the rest of Parliament reportedly stood and started to chant, “Death to America!”

Hitting Back

While Trump did not carry out a military strike, it was reported over the weekend that he did authorize a counter strike in the form of a massive cyber attack.

However, there has yet to be any confirmation regarding the success or failure of the attack.

Iran is believed to have moved most of its military infrastructure offline after a 2010 virus attack that was believed to have been a U.S.-Israel joint hacking.

Even though this attack was confirmed by the military over the weekend, most mainstream media outlets have skipped over the story, no doubt to make Trump look weak in the eyes of voters.
