George Conway, the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, is turning out to be quite a thorn in the side of the president.
Mr. Conway recently sent out a tweet questioning Trump’s “mental stability” after the president said President Barack Obama had been close to becoming involved in a conflict with North Korea.
We should highly question the mental stability of a president of the United States who would lie about whether the United States had been on the verge of starting “World War III” with another state possessing nuclear weapons. https://t.co/XY4zzTEyHR

North Korea Problems
Conway’s tweet was based on yet another critical news article about Donald Trump that was recently published by the New York Times.
In the article, Trump describes some of the problems he and former President Obama had discussed regarding North Korea.
Trump claimed that the original meeting with his predecessor was meant to go for 15 minutes, but lasted much longer.
He also said that Obama told him he feared war with North Korea.
“I don’t want to speak for him, but I believe he would’ve gone to war with North Korea. I think he was ready to go to war,” Trump said. “In fact, he told me he was close to starting a big war with North Korea.”
Twisting of Words
Conway appears to have interpreted Trump to have meant that Obama had his finger over the button and was ready to launch. But even that could have been the case.
At the time, North Korea was testing nuclear weapons and taunting our allies in the Korean Peninsula.
Obama had a reputation for not ever wanting to take military action, so the likelihood he was actually going to go to war is slim. However, the chance that he said he considered it is great.
Trump was simply relaying this information to the New York Times — and George Conway responded by capitalizing on it.
The more Mr. Conway speaks, the more it becomes apparent he is using his status as Kellyanne Conway’s husband to further his own career.
If he were not married to one of Trump’s top advisers, his comments would not even be given the slightest of nods.
He is a charlatan who is twisting words to suit his own narrative and needs to be treated as nothing more than fake news.
