A former business associate of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, testified in front of Congress that President Joe Biden was involved in a bribery scheme with a foreign company.
While the testimony was conducted behind closed doors, House Oversight Committee chair Representative James Comer (R-KY) revealed the most important parts of Archer's testimony.
Comer stated, "Devon Archer’s testimony today confirms Joe Biden lied to the American people when he said he had no knowledge about his son’s business dealings and was not involved. Joe Biden was “the brand” that his son sold around the world to enrich the Biden family."
Republicans have long suspected that Hunter Biden was selling access to the White House and Joe Biden was in on the gig. Now they have the proof that the President has been selling the country out for years.
Archer's testimony seemingly corroborated the mountain of evidence that Republicans already have of the Biden family's corrupt business.
Comer further explained, "When Joe Biden was Vice President of the United States, he joined Hunter Biden’s dinners with his foreign business associates in person or by speakerphone over 20 times. When Burisma’s owner was facing pressure from the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the company for corruption, Archer testified that Burisma executives asked Hunter to ‘call D.C.’ after a Burisma board meeting in Dubai."
Now who would Hunter Biden be calling in D.C. that has the power to get the heat off of Burisma?
The answer has been clear to Republicans for years. Even as Vice President for former President Barack Obama, Joe Biden and his family were raking in millions in return for favors from Washington D.C.
Finally, Comer added, "In December 2015, Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma, and Vadym Pozharski, an executive of Burisma, placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from D.C. regarding the Ukrainian prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. Shokin was investigating Burisma for corruption. Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, “called D.C.” to discuss the matter. Biden, Zlochevsky, and Pozharski stepped away to make the call. This raises concerns that Hunter Biden was in violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act."
Not only does this add another potential charge against Hunter Biden, it also serves as strong vindication for former President Donald Trump.
The sacking of Viktor Shokin prompted former President Donald Trump to look into what was happening in Ukraine. In a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky on July 25th, 2019, Trump asked Zelensky to look into Hunter Biden and Burisma.
Democrats responded to this with inexplicable outrage that stunned Americans. They were so furious about the call that the Democrat-led House of Representatives impeached Trump over it.
Now we know why Democrats were so desperate to force Trump away from Ukraine. As it turns out, his snooping around threatened the Biden family's influence peddling operation.
Not only does this testimony implicate Joe and Hunter Biden in bribery and racketeering, but it also proves that Trump's impeachment was a political hit job designed to protect the most powerful family in the Democrat Party.
