It's a good thing President Joe Biden has a legal "war room" set up for his various anticipated legal issues, including investigations his son, Hunter Biden, faces.

According to Breitbart, Special Counsel David Weiss plans to indict Hunter Biden "by the end of the month," according to a bombshell report citing court filings that indicated as such.

The outlet noted: "The filing was made upon a court order to provide a status update on the case on or before September 6, 2023."

Hunter Biden's previous "sweetheart deal" broke down earlier this year, and it's unclear at this time what charges he might face in the coming indictment out of Weiss' office.

The filing

The court filing made clear that Hunter Biden will be charged -- with something -- by the end of the month.

“[T]he Speedy Trial Act requires that the Government obtain the return of an indictment by a grand jury by Friday, Sept 29, 2023, at the earliest," Weiss wrote.

He added, "The Government intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before that date."

Breitbart noted:

In August, Hunter Biden’s plea deal broke down upon scrutiny from the judge, throwing a wrench into the agreement Weiss and Hunter Biden had crafted.

The agreement afforded Hunter Biden the ability to plead guilty for not paying taxes on over $1.5 million in income in 2017 and 2018, receiving probation rather than jail time.

Some believe there's a possibility that new charges could be filed in the indictment announcement.

"Host of problems"

Even CNN, an outlet traditionally kind to the Bidens and their legal woes, was forced to admit that Hunter Biden is facing serious issues in the coming weeks.

Those "problems" will also be a problem for his father, who's already in the tank, polling-wise, and struggling to get his 2024 presidential campaign off the ground.

Only time will tell just how serious the charge(s) are that Hunter Biden will face. Many had doubts about Weiss as the special counsel in the case, but perhaps he'll surprise his critics soon enough.
